Skills Requirement

• Offline programming ability

• FANUC control experience a plus

• Ability to read prints and to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts, including set up requirements

• Excellent understanding of machining factors such as speeds and feeds, and tooling selection based on current job requirements

• Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 

• Ability to read and use calipers, micrometers, bore gauges and other measuring instruments used to perform the job

• Ability to effectively set up new programs and operate FANUC control machines for one-off and short run jobs, touch off tooling, and change tool offsets accordingly

• Ability to be punctual
